The reason most people get rid of the blogger navigation bar is to make their page look cleaner or to make more money by keeping them on the page. To do this you only need to insert a simple CSS definition. Log into your account, and go to your account. Then just add the CSS definition on your templates page. When you go back to your page, the navigation bar simply disappears.
