The best way to become a part of the news industry is by becoming an intern so you can network. You will be able to know important people, and they will know you.
Transcription So there are great jobs like interns, writers are there any other entry level jobs? Well a regular news writer is a great way. But getting into a TV station is very tough so the best way is to become an intern while being a student. You’re in class, you work a few hours at the station but you’re meeting people and people in the business are meeting you. And there’s that magic. Sometimes they're very impressed and sometimes they will offer you a job. Well maybe not Los Angeles but maybe Palm Springs and they’ll try you out for various other communities. You will be a traveler.
