The triple stroke is just as it sounds. You hit the head three times with each hand while maintaining a solid beat. This is the exact same concept as the double stroke but you are adding in another hit. This is a very useful rudiment that will always come in handy.

another one we have is the triple stroke. It’s the same concept letting the sticks and the head doing the work for you. We start slow very relaxed. So same thing don’t feel like speed is a priority at all. To start off it’s all about consistency and timing and the level of intensity so your hits aren’t going. You want nice tempo and consistency. Just as the double stroke, once your muscles have developed memory, you can work on speed. That’s the triple stroke, kind of like the double stroke. So ive given you some basic concepts, it’s a really good starting point. Try these exercises, and I didn’t mention but a really good idea is to buy a metronome. It’s a great way to practice.
