Tutorial Information:
This video demonstrates how to check your tire pressure using a simple tire pressure gauge. Keeping your tires correctly inflated will increase your gas mileage and improve the ride quality of your car.

How To Check Your Tires Air Pressure
Step 1: Get a tire pressure gauge.

Step 2: Look on your door jam for the correct tire pressure for the front and back tires. Also check on the sidewall of the tires.

Step 3: Remove the valve cover from the wheel.

Step 4: Push the tire pressure gauge onto the valve stem, making sure that no air is escaping the gauge or valve stem.

Step 5: If done correctly the measuring stick on the gauge will shoot out, stopping when it reaches the pressure.

Step 6: If the pressure is anywhere between the pressure listed on the door jam and the pressure listed on the tire, your tire is adequately inflated.

Step 7: Screw the valve cover back on, and repeat on the other 3 tires.

Hi I’m John from tvlesson.com and I’m going to teach you how to check your tire pressure you get from Walmart. To check how much psi your tires must be set at u have to check the door side. It says tire and loading information or something along the lines of that. And then you check right here front rear and spare were going to be looking at front today. And cold tire pressure is 31 psi and that’s where it should be set. Now to check your pressure you go to the tire and u want to unscrew the valve cover and you want to push this side of the gauge onto the valve like this. Then the reader will shoot out. Then you just read it and now I have 37 psi in which is between the tire and door jam psi. And now keeping your tire pressure where it’s supposed to be, it will improve your gas mileage and if it’s a little low, you can just go to a gas station and fill your tire up for like $.75.
