Step 2a: Take your left hand from your opponents elbow, and transfer it to your oponents waist.

Hi, welcome to TVLesson.com. I'm John Kontolefas and im going to be teaching you two wrestling breakdowns from referees positions. Wrestling breakdowsn are used in referees position to break your opponent down and potentially take them to their back, and earn back points, and potentially pin them. The first one is called the tight waist ankle. You start from here, then bring your left arm across, and grab towards the right, bring your right hand to the ankle. Then lift the ankle and drive forward. This is how it should look when you go full speed. The second one is called the ankle knee, and that is where you reach across and you break them down and this is how its done. You bring your left arm, and you want to step towards his head, reach across to the knee, and with your right arm come to the ankle, suck in, and drive forward. This is what its going to look like at full speed. Thank you for watching TVLesson.com.
