The Step-Drag Drill is a drill that is done with a partner to improve your footwork. It is very important to master the footwork, as it is the foundation of boxing and striking. Step 1: Face your partner and get in your striking stance. Step 2: Partner 1 starts the drill by step-dragging towards Partner 2 who then reacts and steps back. Step 3: This is done until partners are alternated. Then Partner 2 step-drags towards Partner 1 who reacts and steps back.
