On behalf of tvlesson.com, I welcome you. My name is Dr. Saied Jacob, author of Your Babies Mind. how to make the most of the critical first two years with the tip of the day. You may be wondering how we know that the first two years are so critical for your babies cognitive develop. First science tells us that the babies unparallel brain growth opens windows of learning opportunities that accept a stage of much of their future develop. Upon conception the fetus starts out with a single cell, while in the womb she produces approx 5000 brain cells a minute. By the time she is born she will have generated over 100 billion brain cells. In terms of sheer weight a babies brain will weigh about half of what and adult weigh will weigh, aprroximently 50%. At the age of 2 years 75% and in 5 years it would be about 90% of an adults brain. Secondly early experience literally changes the physiology of the brain thereby determining the brains ability to function. By the age of 3 their brain performs approx 1000 trillion cell connections. This means that what you do in these first years will impact your babies intellect in a profound way. Third reason is, studies of the effects of early enrichment show us that both the benefits and detrimental effects that the environment can have on your babies development

Here are some important facts:

Enriched brains learn faster

Sterile environments produce fever cell connections

Children who don’t play much have smaller brains

Early intervention shows a uniformly positive effect on school success

Finally to develop properly, a baby’s brain needs certain types of experiences at critical periods. This means that the games and activities that you choose to play with your child must not only be selected to foster thinking but must be stage appropriate. Simply put an activity that’s appropriate for a 4 month old may be boring for a 6 month old.

This Dr, Jacob reminding you, that you can make the difference in your babies mined.
