Generally served during special occassions or fiestas, beef morcon is a delectable beef dish. It is a rolled beef menu that incorporates a lot of ingredients. Although the main cooking process is simple, the cooking time is longer because there are a lot of ingredients involved. The beef morcon uses beef flank since it is the most tender part. Other ingredients placed inside the rolled beef are boiled egg, carrots, cheese, pork fat, hotdog or sausage, and bacon. Sometimes pork liver is also used. The rolled beef is then simmered for about 2 - 3 hours in a tomato-based sauced.
