JAMES GREY / BIOGRAPHY
James Grey is a singer / songwriter who betrays the popullar genre with a sound
that consistently and effortlessly captures
listeners from across the musical spectrum. "Music has always been a way for me
to order my world ; define it, if you will," says Grey. "It's the window to my
soul that the winds of change constantly pry open, exposing my perspective."
On his 2001 " SHADOWS IN LIGHT " CD Grey explores the cross- pollination of
styles that influence his music. From the explosive light of the opening track
"Love Changes Everything " to " Before The Storm ", through the hopeful insight
of
" Leah ", "SHADOWS IN LIGHT " tells of the many shadows that life, loss, and
learning casts - while never loosing sight of the light.
Songs crafted with some of today's brightest rising song writing talents. Sung
with friends Arnold McCuller
( James Taylor,Lyle Lovett, Bonnie Raitt, Phil Collins ) and Teresa James ( Eric
