How To Inexpensively Organize Your Closet

By: Irene
When your closet looks like a war zone, it’s time to do something drastic – NOW! Doing the changes need not be expensive – it will just need patience and time on your part.

Step 1: Use your luggage/suitcases as a storage space for additional items. Regardless of where you store the suitcases, they will take up space; maximize your suitcases to their full potential. This will result in more closet space.
Step 2: Use old boxes that you think have no use anymore. They can be used for a lot of small items like scarves, belts and hats.
Step 3: Consider purchasing a shoe bag. For a small amount, a simple shoe bag can keep your precious shoes in perfect condition for a longer time. Casual footwear that does not need careful handling can be stored in a large (hard) plastic container. Depending on the size, you can fit in as many as 10 pairs in one container.
Step 4: Store your delicate accessories in clear stackable containers so you can organize them by any category you want to use. This will maximize both the space you have and the time you spend on looking for what accessories to use.
