Irene If you have already decided to shave your head, then make sure that you are going to do it the right way. Doing the task incorrectly can lead to discomfort, and pain; other instances may even lead to embarrassment.
Step 1: Follow the basic steps you use in shaving your face. You should consider shaving your head when you have just gone out of the shower. Step 2: Apply a generous amount of shaving gel on your head. Step 3: Shave using strokes from the crown of your head towards your forehead. Step 3: On the sides of your head, shave straight downwards. Avoid shaving against the grain or the growth of your hair. Do the same at the back, shave straight using downward strokes until the neck area. Step 5: Remember to keep rinsing your blade in running water to avoid dulling it. Avoid wiping the blade on a towel. Step 6: Rinse your head and check for missed spots. Use strokes going downwards or sideways to achieve a cleaner look. After this, dry your head using a towel, with gentle patting motions. Step 7: To protect your head from bumps caused by shaving, apply an after-shave razor bump treatment. It prevents razor bumps and heals existing ones.
