Food poisoning is a horrible thing to have and it is hard to get rid of it but there are ways to help it go away faster and ways to make you feel better throughout the process.
You will usually recover from the most common types of food poisoning within a couple of days. The goal is to make you feel better and avoid dehydration. Drink a lot of fluids. Even if you throw it back up, you always have to keep yourself hydrated. Drink any fluid (except milk or caffeinated beverages) to replace fluids lost by diarrhea and vomiting.
Some fluids I recommend would be:
-organic apple cider vinger- perhaps you could find this at your nearest Trader Joes
-cola syrup - you can most likely find this at any drugstore
- pedialyte - you can also find this at any drugstore, such as wallgreens
When drinking fluids, keep drinking even if you keep throwing it up. The point is to not get dehydrated, just drink as much as possible.
Refrain from eating solid foods or dairy products until the diarrhea is gone. Even if you feel a little better, don\'t eat a lot right away, try crackers or bread first and give it some time.
Don't hold in any nauseous feelings, let it out of your system. If you are still sick after a day and a half and it hasn't really gotten any better than go to the emergency room. Give children an electrolyte sold in drugstores.
Go to the emergency room immediately if you have eaten mushrooms or selfish.
If anything just sit next to the toilet at all times and drink a lot of water and you should be fine.
Good luck and get well soon!
