Chocolate and fruit and two of the most tasty combinations, and, by following these directions, you can make a chocolate lava cake with a refreshing blackberry sauce. Enjoy!
Instructions
Things you will need:
2 small baskets of blackberries
1/3 cup of water
1/3 cup of sugar
5 oz. bittersweet chocolate
10 tbsp. unsalted butter
2 large egg yolks
3 large eggs
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup flour

To make the sauce, combine the blackberries, water and sugar into a pot. Bring it to a boil and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Strain it with a very fine strainer and set it aside.

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees and butter six souffle dishes or custard cups.

Melt the chocolate and butter in a sauce pan and let it cool a bit.

Whisk the eggs and egg yolks in a large bowl.

Whisk in the sugar, chocolate mixture and flour.
Step

Pour into each cup and put it into the oven for approximately 11 minutes.

Remove the cake from the oven and turn it upside down. Pour the sauce on and enjoy!
Tips & Warnings
To remove the cake, run a knife along the edges to loosen it up.
Be careful! The oven and the dishes you will be handling will be very hot! Always be sure to use oven mits.
