• One 1.75 liter bottle of vodka (Avoid cheap Vodka)
• Five 8.5 ounce flasks or bottles
  
• One 1 pound bag of Skittles
  
• Five empty plastic water bottles
  
• A funnel
  
• Bowls for separating the Skittles into flavors
  
• A measuring cup
  
• Coffee filters or paper towels

First, here’s the formula you need to know: 60 Skittles to 6 ounces of vodka, which yields about 8 ounces of infused vodka.

Place a couple of newspapers before you start so you will avoid any mess.

Start by simply separating the Skittles into flavors. You want 60 of each.

Fill your water bottles with 6 oz of vodka. It doesn\'t need to be exactly 6 ounces because you can always adjust it later.

Pour the Skittles of one flavor into one water bottle, then pour the next flavor into the next and so on until all five bottles have Skittles soaking in Vodka.

Your water bottles should now all have Skittles at the bottom. Give each bottle a nice shake. The more you shake it, the more it will dissolve. If you look at the picture here, you can see that the colored Skittles is already rubbing off in the vodka. Once you have shaken them, place them aside for a couple of hours. It is recommended to shake them on a consistent basis. Once they’re all dissolved, you’ll notice a lot of white gunk floating at the top. This will be taken care of in the coming steps.

There are different ways to filter the white gunk out but the best way to do it is with the use of coffee filters. You put a funnel inside a measuring cup.

Put four coffee filters in the funnel. It\'s hard to tell how many you might need since not all the filters are the same. NOTE: The orange and green will need more filtration. Just filter it out once more and it will be no problem.

Pour your vodka concoction into your strainer set up. Pour about a quarter of the alcohol into the strainer and wait for some of it to soak through, then pour another quarter in until you are done. In the end, you’ll have about 8 ounces of Skittle infused vodka. After you are finished, dump the funnel and coffee filters into one of the bowls you used earlier for counting out Skittles. Rinse everything out and clean your utensils.

Take the liquid in the measuring cup and pour it into the flask. Repeat this process for every flavor.

Now you should have 5 flasks with different colors of Vodka infused with Skittles.

Stick them in the freezer overnight for a very cold and delicious effect.

After they are chilled, they are ready to serve. These are already strong on their own, and they are very sweet. You can drink them straight out of the flask, or serve them in a cocktail. Some cocktail recipes will be on the tips section.
